Ziggymoto is Charleston’s freshest ‘Worldbeat’ band, melding influences from African, Cuban, and Caribbean traditional music with American pop, jazz, and rock, forming their own eclectic style. Ziggymoto mixes their original music with fun well known covers, including unique, Latin influenced takes on songs from The Grateful Dead and the Allman Brothers. The band is made up of some of Charleston’s most versatile musicians; Steven Sandifer on drums and percussion (Dangermuffin, Bears Gone Phishin’), Tyler Ross on guitar (Charleston Jazz Orchestra, CofC Faculty Jazz Ensemble), Gerald Gregory on piano (Charleston Jazz Orchestra, CofC Faculty Jazz Ensemble), and Jake Holwegner on bass (Dunzip, The Cuban Cowboys).

* Show is for all ages. Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. Attendees under 21 will be subject to a $5 surcharge. The surcharge must be paid in cash at the door on the day of the event.
