Grape to Table Wine Classes! Join me, Sarah O’Kelley, as I host a summer series of wine classes – a Tour of Italy – at Wine & Company (a bottle shop and wine bar) at 441 Meeting Street. There will be four classes focused on key Italian wine regions: Piedmont, Tuscany, Sicily, and northeastern Italy. The classes will offer insight into history, geography, geology, and culture. With each class you will taste four outstanding wines, enjoy a small snack, and receive a well developed information packet (with maps). They will be offered from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. one Saturday per month (see schedule below). The cost is $50 per class, but hospitality industry employees receive a 50% discount. The discount is limited to those actively working in restaurants, bars, hotels, wine sales, etc. Seating is limited and advanced purchase of tickets is required.
