From herbs and tinctures to leeches and lore, uncover the surprising roots of healthcare in this captivating journey through history led by guest speaker Andrew Shuler. They’ll also discuss the field hospital that was located in the Cainhoy Meeting House during the Revolutionary War, the types of injuries that may have been treated there, and what remedies were likely used to care for the wounded.
