Join Cultural History Interpretation Coordinator Georgette Rivera for a historic overview of the newly opened Old Towne Creek County Park. Participants will walk the park grounds to the water’s edge, discussing stories of resistance and endurance embedded within the soil. From Old Towne's colonial beginnings to its Gullah Geechee legacies, we will explore the layered histories of this unique Lowcountry landscape. What to expect: This program will take place at the Old Towne Creek County Park (OTCCP). OTCCP has accessible parking, restrooms, and picnic tables. The park contains paved and unpaved trails where benches are placed alongside trails.
