Description

Learn all about the Civil Rights Movement in the Lowcountry and the local leaders who worked alongside Martin Luther King, Jr. and other national leaders to bring about change. Discuss the tactics used throughout the Civil Rights Movement and decide which were the most beneficial to cause change and what those actions may look like today. How would modern technology/social media have impacted the Civil Rights Movement and how is it impacting calls for social change today? Teen Homeschool History Day is a program geared for students 13 to 17 and features a field trip experience, a chance to go through the Museum, and an educational activity. Adults not required to stay. Reservations required
