Sarah Edwards Hammond is a celebreated Sweetgrass Basket Artist from Charleston, SC, who began weaving at age seven. Taught by her mother and grandmother, Sarah continues the tradition by teaching her daughters and granddaughters. She specializes in intricate designs and has taught at the John C. Campbell Folk School and the Smithsonian African Museum. Join her to learn the art of weaving beautiful sweetgrass ornaments for the festive season.
