On February 24th, join Museum Director and Revolutionary War historian Carl Borick for a special guided tour of the Charleston Museum's newest exhibition, Ringleaders of Rebellion: Charleston in Revolt, 1775 - 1783. This special exhibition commemorates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the founding of our nation and features historic Revolutionary War and 18th-century Lowcountry artifacts, including a cartridge box of the Royal Artillery carried at the Battles of Lexington and Concord, a .75 caliber "Brown Bess" musket, the standard infantry firearm for British soldiers during the Revolutionary War, objects recovered from archaeology projects at battlefields across South Carolina, and 18th-century textiles and gowns.
