Berkeley County Library System (BCLS), will host Read with Sophie on Saturday, May 7 & 21 at Daniel Island Library. Read with Sophie will give families the opportunity to interact with a trained therapy dog by reading stories to Sophie and meeting her handler. Children who may be uncomfortable with reading aloud discover a new confidence while reading to Sophie.
