House & Garden Tours take place from 2 – 5 PM on Saturday afternoons and feature a unique set of 6-8 properties in a different neighborhood each weekend. Enjoy a self-guided tour, going from site to site at your leisure, where our volunteer docents are stationed to share knowledge about the history, architecture, and landscapes.  

Once known as “Dutch Town” for the German immigrants who shaped the area’s vibrant middle-class life in the 18th- and 19th centuries, Queen Street reflects Charleston’s rich cultural tapestry. This tour will highlight the storied stretch of Queen Street in Harleston Village, between King Street and Colonial Lake, where a mix of historic residences and quiet charm offers a glimpse into the city’s layered past.
