Cluck, Cluck Sew's "Plaidy Cake" is the perfect pattern for that layer cake lounging on the shelf that you're longing to use. It's fabulously economical and easier to piece than it looks. Sizes range from crib to king.

Sewing machine and its accessories

Basic sewing supplies (needles, thread, seam ripper, pins, snips, etc.)

Rotary Cutter, mat, & quilt ruler (6.5 x12.5" recommended)

Irons & ironing boards will be available

¼" foot -or- machine clearly marked with ¼" seam

Before class, please prepare the following:

(2) 10" squares of contrasting fabric to be cut into pieces in class

(18) 2.5" squares background fabric

You may bring either the fabric you want to use for your quilt or scrap fabric to practice the block construction. For class, we will make 2 blocks.
