Lowcountry Voices (LCV), a multicultural and ethnically diverse choral performing arts organization, returns for their 13th annual MLK Jr. holiday concert in North Charleston. The group will perform under the musical direction of Nathan L. Nelson and will be joined by guest artists Mark Rivers, Mario Desaussure, Desmond Pringle, and more hometown talent. Known for their vibrant, soul-stirring performances, Lowcountry Voices invites the North Charleston community to join them for a night of reflection, celebration, and unity through music. This year’s theme, Still Standing, explores the concept of resilience, remembrance, and recommitment to the dream Dr. King left us. The program features a dynamic blend of traditional gospel, spirituals, and contemporary compositions. Audiences can expect soul-stirring solo performances, inspiring choral arrangements, and moving ensemble numbers that pay tribute to Dr. King and honor Living Legends of the Lowcountry
