Lowcountry Artists Gallery is pleased to present “Cut Bait”, a solo exhibition featuring new mixed-media works by Gaston Locklear. Known for his evocative blend of oil paint and earthen, weathered materials, Locklear constructs richly layered scenes that feel both contemporary and archaeological. Rusted metal, distressed surfaces, and industrial remnants become part of the narrative, forming tactile landscapes that echo the working heritage of the coastal South. Opening reception February 6, 5 to 8pm.
