The Arts Management Program at the College of Charleston School of the Arts will welcome the esteemed Yuha Jung, Esq. for an in-person workshop "Contract, Copyright, Protecting Your Work." This essential workshop is designed for artists and arts and nonprofit organizations navigating contracts, copyright and regulatory considerations in their work. This session will demystify key legal concepts, including how to read and negotiate contracts, understand copyright ownership, protect intellectual property, avoid common legal pitfalls, and briefly address regulatory considerations for nonprofits and small businesses, and how to protect organizations. Participants will gain practical insights and confidence to safeguard their creative and organizational interests in today’s arts landscape.
Yuha Jung is a renowned attorney and professor, recognized for teaching in arts administration, cultural policy and nonprofit law. She brings both academic expertise and legal training to her national workshop and lectures.
