Description

Join Sidney Frazier, Vice President of Horticulture, as he shares the wisdom of 50 years spent nurturing America’s Oldest Landscaped Gardens. Known as “The King of Camellias,” Sidney will lead this lively and informative workshop highlighting the camellia plant—from its origins in Asia to expert tips on planting, watering, pruning, fertilizing, propagating, and managing disease.

This is the perfect time of year to prepare for fall camellia planting, and guests will receive a 20% off coupon to use toward a camellia plant at the Garden Market this fall.

Discover why the camellias at Middleton Place, some of the oldest in America, first planted on the famous parterre in the late 18th century, are so treasured for their winter beauty.

After the talk, enjoy mimosas and light snacks with Sidney and his team as they answer your gardening questions in a fun and interactive setting. General admission to Middleton Place is included with your ticket.
