Paint Out Rules:

All artists, including beginners, are responsible for bringing their own art supplies including materials, easels, seating, etc. All environmentally safe mediums (watercolors, non-toxic acrylics, etc.) are welcome. Artists will be given a list of featured locations, but are welcome to paint in public areas. Artists must respect private property. All artists should be considerate of the environment and other participants. All paintings must be done outside and during the time of the event. Artists may submit two works for the art show/display. The public is invited to attend this mixer to view the original artworks that highlight the beauty of family land, history, and community.

Featured Painting Locations:

SC250 American Revolution Battle Sites

Family Land

Churches and Fire Stations

Waterways and Lookouts

Historic Cemetery

En Plein Heir is more than the art of outdoor painting (en plein air). It is a cultural experience that celebrates the beauty of family land, the Lowcountry’s landscape, and the acknowledgement of the history embedded in the land, while integrating art, preservation, and community dialogue, along with honoring the legacy of families.

CHP appreciates your support and participation with this event.
