Mount Pleasant Towne Centre has once again partnered with CARTA to serve as the stop location for the Beach Reach Shuttle, a free seasonal park-and-ride shuttle providing a connection between Mount Pleasant and Isle of Palms. Service begins Friday, May 22, 2026 and will operate on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Sept. 7, 2026, as well as on Memorial, Independence and Labor Days {Sunday schedule}. Beach Reach riders can board the shuttle at stop No. 715, located behind the Belk Mens store, and disembark at 14th Avenue and Ocean Boulevard, adjacent to the Isle of Palms beach access. Parking will be available along Market Center Boulevard in Mount Pleasant Towne Centre. On Fridays and Saturdays, the shuttle will run every hour from 9:15 a.m. (first departure from Towne Centre) to 5:30 p.m. (final departure from IOP). On Sundays, the shuttle will run every hour from 9:40 a.m. to 5:55 p.m. Riders should plan to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Ride, Relax & Enjoy more beach time!
