Anergy is an American punk rock band formed in Charleston, SC in 2016. Since their inception, the band has drawn inspiration from old school punk, grunge and other modern influences to create a high energy, driving sound. The group has been compared with artists such as Agent Orange, Circle Jerks and The Dead Kennedys. Their current lineup consists of Gabe Segarra, Sherrod Russell-Blake and Sarah Murphy.

The band gained notoriety for their first single and music video "Not My President" which they filmed with Octopunk Media and released in 2017. Produced by Matt Tuton at his home studio, it received airplay on Charleston’s 98 Rock before being featured at the 2017 South Carolina Underground Film Festival. In 2019 they dropped their debut EP "Anergy Drink" and teamed up with Columbia solo artist Ash Vapor for the Society single in 2020, their first collaborative release. Their second EP "5-Hour Anergy" was released in 2022 with a new music video for "What You Say." In 2023 the band kicked off their first-ever southeast tour and released a second music video for an instrumental version of "Slow Burn" featuring local and regional skaters. They also performed at Music Farm for Charleston Punk Night.
