Circular Congregational Church will welcome the Rev. Dr. Jim Mitulski as guest preacher. Mitulski will preach at the 11:00 a.m. worship service and continue the conversation during a Second Hour program beginning at 12:30 p.m. Both events are open to the public.

Mitulski is a nationally renowned preacher and speaker whose ministry centers on the intersection of spirituality and social justice. For more than 40 years, he has been a tireless advocate for LGBTQI+, HIV+ and AIDS issues. He currently serves as pastor of The Congregational Church of the Peninsula, United Church of Christ, in Belmont, California.

Mitulski is one of the featured participants in "When We All Get to Heaven," a ten-episode, Peabody Award-winning podcast that explores the pivotal role of the Metropolitan Community Church of San Francisco, one of the first gay-positive congregations in the country. Mitulski served as the church's pastor from 1985 through 2000, during the height of the AIDS epidemic.

Ahead of his visit, Mitulski asks that attendees listen to at least the first episode of the podcast series.
